Moms Big Catch Day with the Blue Jays
Special thanks to the Bluefield Blue Jays for hosting Mom's Big Catch day at their stadium! It was an awesome event! Kids 10 & under all received a special customized Blue Jays version of Mom's Big Catch. Thank you to The Children's Reading Foundation of Appalachia and the Bill Cole Auto Mall for sponsoring the reading night. The Blue Jays recently kicked off their "Reading is a Home Run" program with the book too!

Special thanks to the first graders at Donges Bay Elementary School in Mequon, WI for making all of these blankets for the dogs, and for donating this cage and great toys to the Wisconsin Humane Society! It was a very heartwarming gift!

Marla had the incredible opportunity to sit beside Hall of Fame pitcher Fergie Jenkins at Hohokam Stadium in Mesa, Arizona for Chicago Cubs Spring Training Games in 2012 and 2013. Both signed copies of the Wrigley Field version of Mom's Big Catch! Marla looks forward to working with Fergie Jenkins and his Foundation at upcoming events in the future!
